Overview

The black and white studio portrait is faded with age, but shows clearly the upper part of a smiling woman in a light coloured dress with high neck, top section embroidered or lace, then gathered beneath. She has one hand resting on her cheek which exposes ruffled three quarter length sleeve, and her dark hair is upswept. The photo is mounted on a brown cardboard frame with 'The Model Studio, 328 Smith Street, Collingwood' printed on bottom right hand corner. On the back some pencilled notes are fairly unclear ..Smith.. Perth St, Subiaco and further down 'mother'.
