On the left hand side of the photograph is a woman pushing a pram down the street and a man walking up the street. On the right hand side of the photograph are two woman chatting and walking up the street, the woman on the left appears to be holding a baby. There are electricity poles down the right hand side of the street.
The picture is taken just over the railway line and looking directly east down Clive street.

On the second building on the right hand side of the picture is a sign which reads 'STATE SAVINGS BANK'.
There is a sign on the two storey building on the right hand side of the picture that reads 'Wm. J. ROGERS GROCER DRAPER'
On the back of the photograph hand written in black ink is 'Katanning 1926'
On the back of the photograph stamped in black ink is ‘PRINTED BY FIELDING STUDIO. 94 HIGH ST., FREMANTLE.’
