A black and white photograph of two men standing in the middle of a street The man on the left has a long dark sleeved shirt, trousers and a white apron, whilst the man on the right has a white shirt, dark trousers and a white waisted apron on. The man on the right is smoking, both men are wearing leather boots. There are two women who are dressed in dark short sleeved dresses and have short white waist aprons on. There are cars parked further up on the left hand side of the street, and further up the street are a group of men dressed in suits.

Inscriptions and markings

There is a sign to the left of the two men which reads "A.L. O. DAVIES IMPORTER GENERAL DRAPER MERCERY, CLOTHING, FANCY GOODS".
On the balcony above the men's heads is a sign which reads "A.M.P", the rest of the sign is illegible.
