WALL CUPBOARD - THREE DOOR

c. 1950 - 1959
Overview

A timber cupboard with one drawer and three cupboard doors. The top of the cupboard is mostly covered in a white and grey laminex pattern in the style of marble. There is a small section cut out of the back left corner.

There are two large doors on the left and centre and one smaller door on the right of the front facing side of the cupboard. All doors are attached to the main body of the shelf with two hinges. There are catches attached to each drawer. Above the right door is a drawer. All of the handles for the doors and drawer are made of silver aliminium chrome plated material.

There is an inside shelf halfway up the inside with another stained shelf on the bottom as a base.

The cupboard appears to have been joined from two different cupboards. Approximately a quarter of the cupboard has been bolted to the remaining 3/4 with two bolts.

There are two makers marks on the cupboard. One is on side with [WESPLY/RESIN- BONDED/STANDARD] in red and at the back there is a trademark stamp which reads [WESPLY/RESIN-BONDED/UTILITY] in black.
