GENERAL EMBROIDERY, JACKET
Tribal black Hmong jacket of hand woven help fabric dyed with Indigo. The fabric was woven on a traditional loom in the villager’s home. It was dyed in the village using local plants n the traditional method passed on through generations.
Hmong embroidery included geometric patterns inspired by their beliefs. Geometric shapes like diamonds and triangles represent fertility and protection. Colours used are red for prosperity, green for nature yellow for joy and blue for protection
