PHOTOGRAPH: INTERIOR OF METTERS' FACTORY, 1937

Black and white photograph showing the factory interior, showing open rafters supporting corrugated iron sheets of the roof. Unfinished ovens stand in a row in front. Workmen are busy at a row of benches behind. There is a great confusion of tools and unfinished parts of appliances. At the centre right of the photo is a prominent METTERS sign, probably on a windmill tail.
