1993Two storied hotel in Claremont Crescent, rendered painted blue/green, tiled roof, 1930s architecture. Banner on front fence.
Art Deco Hotel on Corner of Franklin Street and Claremont Crescent. Designed by Marshall Clifton and Reginald Summerhayes. Name commemorates the home of Thomas Francis Fremantle, England's first Baron Cottesloe of Swanbourne and Hardwick. Design of the curved windows in front bar inspired by pre-war ocean liners. Demolished August 1999.
