A rectangular pamphlet folded into six sections describing the gold and silver coin collection released in 2004 to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Monkey.

The front cover shows the 1 oz. gold coin above the 1 oz. silver coin above a black stripe containing the Australian coat of arms next to the text: [The Australian Lunar Series / Gold and Silver Bullion Coins / THE YEAR of the MONKEY].

The inner pages feature a photograph of the gold and silver coins as well a brief description on the coins.

On the back cover is a photograph of the Perth Mint with a brief overview on the mint with contact information below.

Historical information

Information pamphlet on the Australian Lunar Series of silver $1 coins struck by the Perth mint to celebrate Chinese New Year. Each coin has a different animal on it that represents one of the Chinese years. These coins were part of a number of framed certificates of appreciation given to the City of Armadale for their support of the Armadale Business Awards in the early 2000's.
