Alexander Robert Gorrie (c.1890-1985), son of Alexander Peter Gorrie and Mary Ann Hart.

Married Mona Cherry (c.1898-1975), daughter of Walter Cherry (1875-1940) and Winifred Maude Omerod (1877-1931) at Claremont in 1919.

Alexander and Mona had two children: Margaret Hart (b.1920) and Jean Catherine (b.1924).

Lived at 48 Victoria Avenue, Claremont.
