Claremont Central School
c. 1914Photograph mounted within embossed frame on fawn card. Five rows of young students in playground with fences and trees in background. Girls dressed mainly in light coloured summer frocks, those in front row sitting cross-legged. Boys, many in sailor suits, in rows behind girls. Frankis Lane second from left in back row.
Misleading comment on back of photo - c1910 the school was known as 'Claremont Central' and Frankis Lane, born in 1905, seems older than 5 years.
