Historical information

Joyce Sievenpiper is a Canadian artist. She created this painting whilst staying with her daughter at Greenough.
Raphoe was the former homestead of the Duncan family. It has been left abandoned since the early 1960s, and much damaged by a bush fire in the 1990s.
