Overview

A fine example of general embroidery by a home embroiderer. The tea cosy has a colourful floral design including chrysanthemum like flowers, tulips, forget-me-nots and various leaf patterns stitched in multiple colours on a linen background. The front and back of the cosy are sewn together with green thread.
