c. 1925A sepia photograph of a family, husband, wife, five boys and one girl. The husband and wife are seated in the centre, the young girl standing between them, the oldest son on the mother's left, another son on the father's right, and three other boys standing behind them.
If the man on the far right is Hurtle Quartermaine, then this is a photograph of George Eli Quartermaine and his wife Dora Quartermaine nee Wreford. Hurtle Quartermaine died in 1938 as a result of injuries received in a mining accident in 1936. He was aged 26.
