Above the picture of the horse and cart in red lettering is "FOUNDED in 1932" and underneath is "THE BAKER", and underneath is "DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR".

On the side of the tin is a red square with the words "MAXWELL HOUSE" in white and the word "COFFEE" in black.
