A circular enamel tin with a coloured picture of macadamia nuts and leaves, above the picture is a red and yellow ribbon scroll. On the sides of the tin is information on the Frill-Neck Lizard and the Kangaroo.

Inscriptions and markings

On the red ribbon scroll in white lettering is "ORIGINAL", on the yellow scroll is "MACADAMIA SHORTBREAD" and below on the red ribbon scroll above the macadamia nuts is "PURE BUTTER". Below the picture of the nuts on a yellow background is TRADITIONAL AUSTRALIAN RECIPE. ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS" and below this on a red background in white lettering is "PRODUCT OF AUSTRALIA. NET WEIGHT 225 GRAMS".

On the base of the tin is "INGREDIENTS" and in black lettering is "WHEAT FLOUR, CHOICE GRADE BUTTER, CANE SUGAR, MACADAMIA NUTS, BAKING POSDER." and underneath is "Store in a cool dry place". Then there is a QR Sticker.

Below the QR Sticker in black lettering is "KOALA BRAND GROUP PTY. LTD. ? WEST ? 3042 AUSTRALIA"

There is a use by sticker with a date of "15NOV97"
