Image: Sepia and cream coloured photograph of a brick building, ? Iron roof, stepped façade topped by flagpole. 'Scout Hall', '18th Group' 'Boy Scouts' in masonry relief across façade. Inscription at base of photograph: '18 WA Group, Scout Hall, West Subiaco. Officially opened Oct. 31 1931.'

On back, handwritten in black ink: 'This is our new Scout Hall which is by / the way one of the best in W.A. and I can / tell you it is a great asset to have / behind you. / It has a main Hall 78' x 35' with stage at / one end and has four large rooms and / a room under the stage. The building is / valued at about 2000 pounds so you can guess what / it is like. Yours Charlie.
