Gloster Street, Subiaco - 1920s Grace Wortley nee Thornhill, grew up in Gloster St.
Families camped for the summer holidays at Matilda Bay, took dray loads of furniture and camping gear. The men joined in at the campsites on the weekends, and lived at home during the working week. The women and children spent many weeks at Matilda Bay, swimming, crabbing and prawning.
