Made at Metters Ltd. Foundry and Enameling Plant, Subiaco c1935 from new (probably) in home of Mr. Con Kalaf, greengrocer and Mrs. Kalaf. Mr. Kalaf came to Australia from Greece, and lived at 44 Barker Road, Subiaco. The stove remained in the Barker Road house until the death of Mr. Kalaf in about 1998.
