Coyrecup siding - Wheat Stacks

There are two covered wagons on a side railway track and on the right hand side of the photograph is a small tin shed with wooden boxes at the front. In the background is a black and white sign which reads "COYRECUP" held up by wooden posts.
The tin shed would have been a workers hut.

On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Coyrecup siding 1939-40".
Before the inventions of bulk handling of wheat, stacks such as these were common along the railway line. Coyrecup railway siding is in a very good wheat growing area east of Katanning on the Nyabing railway line.
