Imperial Football team Premiers
1954A large sepia photograph of three rows of men in football uniform, team officials and trainers, the photograph is pasted on cream cardboard. The football players are wearing jumpers which have light and dark horizontal stripes and white shorts. The officials are in suits, and the coach and trainers are in white clothing. There photograph of the team is taken in front of an iron shed.
The Imperials Football team played in the Katanning Association during the 1950s/60s. The team was formed following World War Two. The team colours were red and blue. The team merged with the Rovers Football club to become the Australs Football Team. This photograph was recovered from the Katanning Rubbish tip, it is thought to have been displayed in the Royal Exchange Hotel for many years.
