PRINT HUNGRY JACK'S AND CLAREMONT TOWN HALL
1986B/W. Side view of brick (church) Town Hall with 5 gothic windows and tiled roof. Front of Hugry Jacks seen from side view on right image.
In 1983 the Town of Claremont acquired the old Welsleyan Church (which had become surplus to requirements when the Methodists, Congregationalists and Presbyterians joined to form the Uniting Church) and converted it into Claremont Town Hall. Sir Richard Trowbridge, the Governor, officially opened it in Oct 1983. After the Claremont Council fire of 2010, the Town Hall was converted into the new Claremotn Library and Community Hub which opened in 2011.
