In 1835 the land was transferred to Patrick Taylor, who wrote to the Surveyor General on June 11th 1835, applying for fee simple of the allotment, stating that his house was situated on the block. On 14th October 1840 there was a release of allotment to J.R. Phillips, and on 15th November 1843 mortgage J.R. Phillips to Patrick Taylor. On 20th August 1845 vendor J.R. Phillips purchased P. The building is now a display museum for the Albany Historical Society Inc.
