STIRLING TERRACE, ALBANY, EARLY ANZAC DAY MARCH
c. 1925Black and white photograph of a military parade down Stirling Terrace that shows Naval Personnel marching with rifles and fixed bayonets, leading a contingent of men, some in uniform, the majority in civilian clothes in what would seem to be an Anzac Day commemoration in the early 1920's. Across the road, in Lower Stirling Terrace (middle right) can be seen the Goldfields Coffee Palace with people waving from the upper level, and the taller building immediately east (left) of that is the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co offices.
