Blue and white postcard from the 'Greetings from Subiaco' series, featuring a view of Nedlands and the Swan River from the foreshore.
Although the foreground is largely made up of water, there are also a distant group of figures, two adults and two children, standing in the river with a jetty and the Nedlands baths in the background. There are several small boats moored in the river. At the left of the image is a boathouse.

Historical information

This part of the Swan River, and the Nedlands foreshore, once belonged within Subiaco's boundaries. Known as 'Subiaco Beach' it was a popular leisure spot for Subiaco residents.
