CHRISTMAS CARD: 'HEARTY GREETINGS'
From a collection of four Christmas cards.
Front: Brightly coloured single folded paper card, back part slightly wider than the front featuring a spray of holly and coloured ribbons. The front shows a picture of a winter landscape and a horse drawn coach with passengers inside and out and rows of houses in the back ground with snow covered roofs. In the left foreground stand a couple with cases at their feet waiting for the coach. The words 'Hearty Greetings' are at the bottom right. The period depicted would be the 1800s.
Inside: Shows a winter scene with a family at the right and a Christmas poem, with the greeting 'To Pearl from Elsie - 40 years old'.
