Overview

This purple taffeta handbag, well-constructed with board and wadding.
Hand machine made cord using gold metallic thread was hand couched on the taffeta and
iridescent purple/blue glass seed beads and gold metal beads added.
A hand twisted cord, forms the handle. Velcro fastening.
A contemporary hand machine embroidered article from the 1990s in Perth, Western Australia.
