Overview

A delicate cashmere shawl with an intricate paisley design embroidered in fine woollen yarn at each end.
Cream cashmere, with band of embroidery, 205 mm wide, at each end in colours navy blue, sky blue, orange, pink.
Narrow self fabric fringe on end, well worn.
Embroidery threads are breaking. Several moth eaten holes.
Paisley design originated in India and spread to Europe. See notes.
