A contemporary hand machine embroidered article from the 1990s in Perth, Western Australia when hand machine embroidery was becoming an art form.
10,000 metres of lurex thread was used to create a machine embroidered fabric for this waistcoat.
Lined with orange fabric, taffeta or synthetic looking silk. Made by the donor.
