HUNGARIAN, TABLECLOTH
Attractive colourful hand embroidered tablecloth in traditional Hungarian floral design from the Kalocsa region, stitched latter half of 20th century.
The scalloped edge has a buttonhole edge worked in white. The scalloped border has traditional daisy , tulip, blue berry motifs. 270-290mm inside the edge is a rectangle of flowers in bold colours of red, blue, purple, orange with green variegated leaves. There are random sprigs and motifs dotted around.
Stains in centre of the tablecloth were unable to be removed.
