The Shakaijin Trophy presented to The Champion Australian Baseball State
A silver-plated metal trophy with a round cup-shaped body and angular handles. The 'cup' is engraved with the name of the trophy, who presented it and why it was awarded. A band of embossed bunches of grapes and grape leaves encircles the body of the cup. The cup is supported on a silver-plated fluted column which is intersected in the middle by two raised, patterned bands. The fluted base of the column is encircled by another raised band of grapes and leaves and a patterned band. The column is attached to a stepped-down, black wooden base. Around the base are two rectangular silver-plated plaques and one shield-shaped plaque; all are engraved with the Australian States that won the perpetual trophy between 1969 and 2006.
This perpetual trophy was awarded to the champion Australian baseball State by the Japan Shakaijin Baseball Association between 1969 and 2006.
