Overview

Historical information

Object was gifted to donor.
This plate had been used by Kathleen Butterly as a child.
Kathleen lived in an historic residence on Harper Road, acquired by the Butterly family in 1910, but which had originally been constructed in 1860. Kathleen sold the house and land to the Shire of Toodyay in 1981.
In that year the Council leased Butterly House to the Toodyay Homes for the Aged Association (now Butterly Cottages Association (Inc.)). Here is a link to a wikipedia article about this site: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterly_House
