BUTTER CHURN
Butter Churn: Box shaped wooden object without lid. Metal rod through centre of the larger surface attached to centre of opposite surface extending to a non-metal extension with pear shaped bakelite handle. A wooden paddle or butter churn is attached to the metal rod inside of the box. The edges near the base of the box have curved lines. The cream was placed in the churn; the handle turned until the butter milk separated out and butter remained.
