Doll's Dress

Overview

A white cotton long sleeved doll's dress, There is broderie anglaise edging around the cuffs and neckline. The dress has an opening at the front with two buttons, on the front shoulders are three pin tucks.

Historical information

The garment is machine stitched with button holes, gathers, and pearl buttons. It is assumed that Ethel Nankervis who is Mrs Pat Richardson's grandmother made the samplers.
