Doll's Dress

Overview

A cotton sleeveless dress with lace edging around the neckline, sleeves and bottom of the dress. Around the waist is a tie. The dress is open all the way at the back but is done up with two buttons and a drawstring at the neckline.

Historical information

The garment is machine stitched with button holes, gathers, and pearl buttons. It is assumed that Ethel Nankervis who is Mrs Pat Richardson's grandmother made the samplers.
