Standard 1
a) Pot holder 155mm x 158mm hessian fabric. Yellow, red and green wool. Straight stitch.
b) Comb case. 125mm x 100mm. calico fabric. Yellow, blue perle thread. Straight stitch and whipped straight stitch.
Standard 2
c) Bonnet. Calico. 200mm x 295mm, strap 345mm. Red, coral, blue perle cotton. Straight stitch and whipped straight stitch.
d) Kettle holder. 147mm x 140mm. Hem stitch. Double circle with house and steps. Whipped straight stitch, top sewing, buttonhole hook, perle cotton.
e) Pinafore. Pink cotton fabric. Tree whipped straight stitch perle thread. Length 185mm x 150mm.
Standard 3
f) Apron. Pink check and plain fabric – crossover design. Green, pink, blue perle cotton. Herringbone, straight stitch, whipped straight stitch, hem stitch edges. 170mm x 205mm
g) Flannel Bonnet. Blue with pink fold back. 225mm neck edge. 235mm around fold back.
Standard 4
h) Gathered pink bonnet. Muslin. 120mm long 150mm lower edge.
i) Matinee Jacket. Cream flannelette with pink blanket stitch. Thread a’Broider. Length from shoulder 140mm, underarm 360mm.
Standard 5
j) Kettle Holder, on canvas, threads – wool, a’Broider blue and red darning. 150mm x 150mm.
k) Buttonhole sampler. Cream cotton. 145mm x 62mm.
l) Specimen of gathering. 91mm x 65mm.
m) Blue Apron. Buttonhole stitch. 210mm long, waistband 185mm. with lace edging, snail trail stitch.
Standard 6
n) Print patch. Pink checked. 125mm x 110mm
o) Calico patch. 125mm x 125mm.
p) Ornamental patch. Unbleached calico with purple kennel and yellow dog. Stranded cotton variegated thread. Chain stitch. 135mm x 140mm.
Standard 7 & 8
q) Specimen of whipping. 80mm x 62mm.
r) Cutwork and placket. Apricot linen. 140mm x 110mm.
s) Pocket. Grey with pink edging in cotton fabric. Hem stitching appliqué, spoke stitch. 160mm x 132mm.
