Ninon Phillips artwork - Poowong Centre

Overview

One of a series of four framed artworks produced by Ninon Phillips (1921-2015).
The frames are painted gold and the mounts are cream. There is an inner frame of gold surrounding the central artwork.
The illustrations are in natural hues of paint with black pen detail added over the top.

This piece depicts the Poowong Center of the Victorian Bush Nurse Association. It appears to be a small timber cottage with a corrugated iron roof. Two people are carrying a third person towards the centre to be treated.
