Overview

These five photographs capture some of the moments during a Legacy fundraising day that incorporated a champagne breakfast in 1977. The event may also have been associated with the opening of the new 17th par three hole featuring a lake.

3. 9th tee: Richard Brain (MGGC Golf Professional at the time): Mr Green – “The Brain with all the money”

4. 17th green: Unknown, Jack & Marg Bostleman

5. 9th tee: Dawn Johnston, Megan Holmes, Laurie Johnston, Del Nash, Beryl Nicholls

Identification of individuals was assisted by captions written onto the back of each photograph.

The photographs were removed from an album where they were adhered to the cardboard backing pages. The album contained several sets of photographs believed to have been taken by Geoff Holmes, MGGC President in 1976-77.
