Overview

These three photographs capture some of the moments during the Ladies Championship Dinner and Trophy Presentation in 1976.

1. Ladies President Anne Hamilton, Betty Weir, Ladies Captain Megan Holmes

2. Anne Hamilton, Megan Holmes, Mavis Tolmie. The caption is labelled as Club Championship Trophy. However, the trophy is an unknown one and more likely to be one of the handicap components of the events in the Championships.

3. Anne Hamilton, Dawn Johnston (rear), Mavis Tolmie (1976 Joy Renner Trophy winner), Megan Holmes

(Colleen Campbell and Julie Lindsay at left of photograph)

Identification of individuals was assisted by captions written onto the back of each photograph.

The photographs were removed from an album where they were adhered to the cardboard backing pages. The album contained several sets of photographs believed to have been taken by Geoff Holmes, MGGC President in 1976-77.
