On the front of the photograph, there are signs on the front and side of the building on the right, at the second storey top side of the balcony is written 'K.C. Palace', and on the second story flooring side of the balcony is written 'Refreshments'. The words on signage on the front of the building cannot be deciphered.
On the back of the photograph is written in pencil is 'Katanning Coffee Palace looking toward the Railway'
