a)19th century sepia photograph of elderly couple James & Mary Sinclair [nee Glass]. Man is standing to left to left & the woman is seated, she is wearing a long skirt & shawl & has a book in her lap. The man is holding a white hat.
b) same size and image as a).
James Sinclair of " Dumbarton" Toodyay arrived Western Australia from Nairn Scotland on sailingship " Parmelia" in 1840. Birth date 1816 died 1898. Mary Sinclair 1815 -1895 married Edinkille, Murrayshire Scotland.
Photograph b) was inserted into a front pocket of the original album that held a), Both photos stored in same location.
Part of a collection of items, mainly photographs, relating to the Sinclair family and donated to the museum in 2014 by Marilyn Walker of Kingscliffe, NSW.
