BOTTLE, GLASS
c. 1910Screw-top, now cloudy but assumed originally clear, glass bottle.
From about the late 19th or early 20th century.
Slightly damaged - small chips out of neck.
Lettering on bottle suggests an association with the London firm "Barrett & Elers".
Found by Milton Baxter in March 2013, partially exposed in the sandy bed of the nearly dry Avon River immediately below the southern end of the Toodyay football oval.
Other marks indicate the manufacturer of the beverage the bottle held was "Crowder & Letchford" (A local company operating out of Fremantle up until 1913)
