GENERAL EMBROIDERY, APRON
c. 1940 - 1949This apron, stitched by the donor’s father whilst the family sat together of an evening stitching and listening to the radio during early 1940s, during World War II in their home in South Perth.
The design on the apron, of a lady in a striped jacket riding a horse, stamped on cotton calico, with two separate pockets on the side, was incomplete.
