STAMPED LINEN, TRAY CLOTH
An early 20th century Semco stamped linen tray cloth of Australian wildflowers, with instruction for embroidery.
Printed on the bottom of the mat is “Semco Superior Needlework J939 14x20” and “Special Pure Old Beach Linen”.
Colour illustrated instruction leaflet states: “Semco Design J/939 Gum and Wattle Blossom.”
On either side of the oval shaped tray cloth is a spray of gum and wattle blossoms. Woven through the blossoms is ribbon with the words “Greetings From Australia” with a bow at each end.
