1830Dr Alfred Green's medical instrument trunk, made of metal.
The lock is unserviceable.
Lid has separated from base
A 1962 list states 'Tin case used by dr. green for medical instruments while practising in WA 1830.
Used also for storing valuables and documents in case of bush fire.
Donated by his great-granddaughter, Mrs Thurman

Dr. Green was the medical officer at Newcastle Convict Depot.
This trunk was brought out from England.
