MARRIS Family Bible
Profusely illustrated bible with nearly two thousand illustrative engravings on steel, wood, and in colours, including full-page maps and chromolithographed plates.
Text inside has the AD1611 King James Version of the New Testament in one column and the AD1881 revised version in another column.
Cover is deeply embossed boards with elaborate gilt decoration. Edge of spine fraying. Inside some of it is detached from spine.
Chromolithographed pages for births, deaths, and marriages.
