Overview

Made from black neoprene formed with material with advertising material printed in colours on the outside. The neoprene is a sheet formed into a cylinder, secured at the join with an adhesive tape. The base of the cylinder is also neoprene and is glued onto the base of the cylinder.

Printed on the front of the holder is a stylised image in a white circle. On the left hand side of the circle is an image of leaves printed in green ink, representing the bush of the Roleystone & Karragullen areas. The right hand side of the circle has a matching image of red flames. Surrounding this inner circle are the words [ROLEYSTONE KARRAGULLEN / BUSH FIRE BRIGADE] in white ink.

At the base of the front in white printing is [Est 14.10.21].

On the back of the holder are the words [In the Community / With the Community / For the Community]. The first two words of each line are in red ink, the word community in each line is in white ink.

Historical information

The Roleystone Karragullen Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is located at 59 Springdale Road in Karragullen. On Sunday 9th of June 2024, between 10:00am and 2:00pm they held an Open Day for the public to attend the new "State of the Art" station and meet the Brigade team. The Open Day included Fire Truck rides and displays. This stubby holder was available as a memento of the day.
