POSTCARD: MILITARY GROUP WITH TOM HANCOCK AT BLACKBOY HILL CAMP

Overview

Front: The photograph shows a large group of men standing outside an army hut with a few others sitting in the open window and standing in front of the door. Tom Hancock appears with those standing on the steps of the door. He stands on the step below a soldier with sergeant stripes on his sleeves. Some of the men are wearing belts and carrying rifles. Below the group written on the image appear the words: 'Blackboy Hill Studio A Happy Lot at Blackboy Hill Camp.'
Reverse: Reverse of photograph may be used as postcard.
Beneath and to the left of POST CARD is written ‘Correspondence’ and to the right ‘Address only'.
Also handwritten 'Standing beneath Sargeant Thomas Hancock'
