PHOTOGRAPH: MRS BURNS ON HER HORSE

The photograph was taken at Mrs Alexandra MacKinnon Burns' home at 25 Catherine Street, Subiaco, next to the verandah. Mrs Burns sits in side-saddle fashion on a large black horse. She is wearing a long skirt and a tight jacket with embroidered detail on the collar, a top hat draped in a length of chiffon and gloves. There is a trellis in the background and several trees.
