c. 1925A young woman in a short light frock, light stockings and shoes is perched on a verandah railing, holding a camera. The brick house has stone foundations, a wooden floored verandah with wooden posts, decorative brackets and simple valance. The ceiling is lined with boards and the area beneath the railing is enclosed with wire netting.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
