1977Circular silver crowns (5 shillings) with a horse and rider endorsed on its face. The words 'Elizabeth.II.DG (Dei Gratia).FD (Fidei Defensor)' and the date, 1977, encircle the coin just inside the milled edge. The reverse features the phoenix (symbol of a person of high excellence) surmounted by a crown and surrounded by nine tendrils.
The coin was issued to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977.
